Thank You From the Secretary General
Dear YMUN Advisers and Delegates,
Congratulations on successfully completing the thirty-sixth session of the Yale Model United Nations Conference. The Secretariat and I were overwhelmed by the passion and ingenuity with which you approached such complex issues as post-conflict reconstruction in sub-Saharan Africa, the role of women in development and economic collectivization in South East Asia. You should all be very proud of the resolutions, directives, and even presidential nominations you made by the end of the weekend.
Below you will find the full list of delegation and committee awards from this year’s conference. The committee chairs made some really tough decisions in giving this awards, and emphasized to the Secretariat how impressed they were by everyone’s performance over the course of the weekend. So, thank you again for your hard work at YMUN XXXVI, and be on the look out for information on YMUN 2011!
Best regards,
Natalie Kotkin
