What's New at YMUN?

Building off of a successful YMUN 37, your new secretariat aims to make YMUN 38 even better. With innovative delegate events, improved communication with delegates and advisors, and greater sponsorship and advertising opportunities, we are confident that YMUN will be more engaging than ever. Among the new opportunities that we are excited about are:

For delegates:

·      Improved Communications: This year, delegates will be able to interact with YMUN through a regular newsletter containing details about YMUN committees and events in addition to an updated blog and twitter.

·      New Events: Whether it is through volunteering at a New Haven nonprofit during Yale Day, discussing committee topics with expert Yale professors, or watching incredible performances by Yale students during a Yale showcase, YMUN 38 delegates will have the opportunity to participate in a range of new activities.

·      Financial Aid Options: For the first time, delegates will be eligible to apply for financial aid individually.

 For advisors:

·      Improved Communications: New at YMUN 38, a regular newsletter with updated information about committees, events, and deadlines will provide you with valuable and timely information.

·      Savable Registration Form: The days of the old YMUN online registration form are over. Now, with the completion of the new YMUN website, advisors will be able to save registration information and return to it later.

·      Advisor Events: For the past several years, delegates have had the chance to interact with Yale professors. Now, advisors will be able to as well! In addition to meeting in a smaller setting with this year’s keynote speaker, advisors will have the opportunity to engage with Yale experts in the advisor room.

For businesses:

·      Flexible Sponsorship Options: Different businesses have different needs, and YMUN recognizes that. Through flexible sponsorship options, our secretariat is committed to working with your business to customize the way we introduce your product to our 1,300 person delegate base.

·      Greater Web Visibility: With our redesigned website, sponsors will take center stage with prominent placement and accessible information.

·      Tiered Advertising and Sponsorship: Returning this year is a tiered advertising approach that enables YMUN to meet your business’s needs.
